Kaparo comes from a Christian family. He lives with his parents and three siblings. His father is a farmer, and his mother is a casual laborer. At home, he helps by looking after their cattle. His favorite color is blue, and he likes eating pilau. In school, his favorite subject is integrated science, and he loves playing football (soccer) with his friends.
