Tumutumu

Tumutumu, partnered with 410 in 2015, is named after the well-known Tumutumu hill in the area. Originally the name, Tuku Tumu, meaning dry firewood found in this area, was too difficult for the first missionaries to pronounce and was changed to Tumutumu. The soil, full of good loam, is very suitable for farming. Coffee is a popular crop in this area. Other crops include maize, beans, bananas, mangos, and avocados. Dairy farming is also practiced in the community.
