Mary lives with her mother and has three brothers and two sisters. She helps at home by washing clothes, sweeping floors, and weeding in the garden. In her free time, she enjoys playing hide-and-seek and jumping games with her friends. Her favorite color is green and she likes eating pilau with stew. In school, her favorite subject is Kiswahili and she wants to be a teacher when she grows up.
